San Pedro - Ocean View Terrace Renovation
This project transformed an existing but under developed area on the ocean view side of an existing 1920's vintage spanish villa. The project restructured about 1200sf of 3 separate open space areas into one contiguous level area at the base of the house with paving and grass areas allowing flexibility of use and then a series of landscaped retaining walls stepping down the hillside, two new clay tile staircases with Malibu tile risers, and a built-in bench/wall area under the shade of an existing tree. The project costs were about $60,000. Note - the trellis was eliminated during the construction process to address budget issues.
